| It is essential every current and future VeloCyte understand what we believe. Although we reach out to the city as a whole, our main focus is the spiritual well being of every woman that comes in contact with Velo. We understand what we believe may divide us as Christians, but in whom we believe can unite us as a Church.
WE BELIEVE
We believe in one triune God, eternally existent in three distinct persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Bible is the inerrant, infallible and the inspired Word of God, having been revealed by God and recorded by man and having supreme authority in a believer's life.
We believe Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God who was born of a virgin, being fully God and fully man; yet, did not commit sin.
We believe everyone is born a sinner and needs the salvation, love and grace of God. This was offered to us through Jesus' literal death on the cross and his literal resurrection three days later.
We believe salvation is experienced when you repent of your sin and receive forgiveness through acceptance of Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. This is a gift of faith and not of works.
We believe every Christian has direct access to God through Jesus Christ empowered by the Holy Spirit. This access is only achievable through a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus that begins at salvation.
We believe in water baptism by complete immersion as an outward expression of what salvation has already done on the inside.
We believe the baptism of the Holy Spirit, with the verbal evidence of speaking in other tongues, is a separate experience from salvation and is not necessary to be saved and have the Holy Spirit in your life.
We believe in the act of laying on of hands for the purposes of ordination, spiritual impartation, appointment to a position and transference of spiritual authority.
We believe in divine, and often miraculous, healing.
We believe in the personal and visible second coming of Jesus Christ where a division will be made between those going to heaven and those going to hell.
